Miyanaga family has been forging high quality chisels since 1908 in Miki City, Hyogo.
Currently their 3rd generation, who began his training as soon as he graduated elementary school and his son are running the forge.
This is their Oiire (Bench) chisel. Up to 13.5mm is square Kaku-Uchi style and 15mm and up is beveled Men-Tori style.
Japanese chisels do not come fully sharpened and setup, if you would like us to do this process for you it will cost $350 and will take one week.
