This coarse synthetic stone is the fastest choice for removing nicks and chips on a blade. The Omura stone comes in a slightly larger size compared to the standard sharpening stones due to the fact that coarse stones wear down more quickly than finer grit stones.
The stone should be soaked with water before use, and preserved dry when finished.
