3rd generation Mitsukawa carefully handmade this double edged flush cut saw. Unlike a regualr double edged saw, both sides are cross cut teeth. One side has a finer cross cut than the other side. It is useful for trimming wooden dowels or bamboo nails from its base. The blade is very flexible and can cut right against a surface. To prevent scratches, we recommend placing a sheet of paper between the saw and wood.
