A synthetic, ceramic polishing stone introduced from the Naniwa Abrasive company in Japan. This polishing stone was created to provide a performance like a natural polishing stone and works well for touching up chisel, plane blade, and kitchen knives such as a yanagi. The stone comes attached to a plastic base.
The stone should be soaked with water before use, and stored dry when finished.
