This marking knife comes with two blades. It is used to mark parallel lines, such as for the kumiko joinery used on shoji doors. The width of the space between the blades can be adjusted with the screw attached on the side.
Baishinshi is a brand produced by a blacksmithing family who has been forging carving knives and chisels for more than 250 years. Currently the 7th generation took over as "Baishinshi Kunimitsu", the family blacksmith name.
