Mr. Tasai's chisels are one of the most well known chisels in Japan. Akio Tasai started his journey as blacksmiths at age of 12 and still forges strong at age of 80. His son Michio is also at the forge making other tools. Every process is done traditional style putting their souls into their tools one at a time.
Japanese chisels do not come fully sharpened and setup, if you would like us to do this process for you it will cost $350 and will take one week.
