Scraper plane is a tool designed to remove surface shavings little by little, commonly used for adjusting the sole of planes or finishing corners and edges. The blacksmith is 3rd generation Tsunesaburo who is a plane maker in Miki City, Hyogo prefecture. The blade is stamped with the character "Shunran" which translates to spring orchid.
