3rd generation Mitsukawa, a government-certified traditional craftsman, hand forged and sharpened each blade for these single edged, cross cut saws. Mitsukawa selected a special grade of hard and flexible white steel for this blade. Compared to the regular cross cut saws, these saws come in finer teeth to be able to cut through hardwoods.
