It is an all-purpose craft knife that can be used for woodworking, camping, and bamboo crafting. The blade is made of laminated Aogami #2 (blue steel), with a tsuchime finish (hammered finish). It is beveled only on one side, creating a thinner edge compared to a knife beveled on both sides, which allows extremely fine cuts. The blade locks in place when it is fully opened.
