A traditional layout tool which is useful for checking if a surface is level. The red spool has a 360 degree rotating handle that allows the line to smoothly pull out or wind back. By attaching a bob to the line it can also be used as a plumb bob. The handle has a special groove created to allow more control of where to hang the spring. The bottom of the handle has a hex key that can be used to remove the hex screws on the side of the spool when replacing the pins.
