Anybody can easily sharpen a knife while maintaining the same angle with this guide. Simply clip the guide on the back of the blade and you are ready to sharpen your knife. The blue clip is made of nylon and the white line on the clip which slides over the stone is ceramic. This clip on guide is recommended for Japanese style knife which is generally designed to be sharpened at 15 degrees.
