These scraper trio are handforged in Saga prefacture in Kyushu region, Japan. The same tradtitional technique is used laminating hard steel on to soft Iron. The nejiri scraper is the sharper scraper, you can also use the tip to pop the weeds out as well. The kana scraper is more of a collector, use a circular motion on the ground to scraper and bring the weeds towards you. The V shaper scraper is the versatile one. Place the tip deep in the soil behind the targeted weed, use your other hand to pinch the weed and the scraper together, raise the handle slightly then bring the weed up with the scraper.
